Sandymount Hotel, Dublin

Project included Curtains, Headboards, Voiles and Bed Throws

Sandymount Hotel enjoys a long and distinguished history that whispers through the bricks and corniced ceilings of the Victorian Houses which now comprise the modernised hotel. The Loughran family have been running this 4 star hotel since 1955, celebrating 62 years as the largest family run hotel in Dublin.

The Sandymount features 168 newly refurbished guestrooms with Rathgael working on the project alongside Christopher Quinn of Castle Interiors, the main contractors for the refurbishment and John Duffy Design Group.

Comprising Standard, Executive and Family Rooms, the accommodation in Sandymount Hotel is beautifully appointed and tastefully designed. Rathgael manufactured curtains, headboards, voiles and bed throws for all bedrooms, working alongside the main contractor Christopher Quinn and Hotel director Gerard Quinn to ensure minimum disruption during the project whilst meeting the tight deadlines agreed at the outset.

Following on from the full refurbishment of the Hotel’s accommodation, Rathgael once again partnered up with Castle Interiors and John Duffy Design Group to carry out a redesign of the public areas including The Line Out Bar, Whitty’s Restaurant and the public seating areas as well as meeting rooms and the Hotel Reception.
